From External Provider to In-House Wraparound Care
After struggling with a wraparound care system that couldn’t keep up with booking volumes and payments, Archbishop Runcie C of E First School partnered with Childcare Bookings for Schools to streamline administration, improve parent communication, and free up valuable staff time.
Our previous system was not designed to handle the volume and payments received for our wraparound care.
It cost us our time and effort and I am pleased to say that Childcare Bookings has made a substantial positive difference in this respect.
Since the beginning, it has been a straightforward procedure to set up our wraparound care.
Childcare Bookings have been happy to patiently answer any questions I had along the way. Their overall support has been really helpful.
It was a very straightforward process for parents to register and book the sessions they required. The only feedback we’ve received from parents has been positive.
Access to the system means club staff are confident taking a more hands on approach in dealing directly with any questions they may have regarding the children attending.
The main difference is that is has made our roles (in the school office) significantly easier to manage.
As a Business Manager, I am no longer involved with the day-to-day administration or payments, which has freed up my time. I have the confidence to refer all queries directly to Childcare Bookings to deal with.
The biggest benefit for the school has been the significant time saved by myself and other staff. Between the time saved and the improved access to online booking and support for users of the service, we are now able to manage and maintain better parent relationships.
