From External Provider to In-House Wraparound Care
After struggling with labour-intensive bookings, payment management, and a high volume of parent queries, St Nicolas and St Mary CE Primary School partnered with Childcare Bookings for Schools to streamline its wraparound care administration and improve efficiency across the school office.
We were looking for a more efficient way of managing our bookings – it was very labour intensive and difficult to manage in terms of payments. We were also dealing with a huge volume of queries from parents which took up a lot of the office team’s time.
The team were very helpful and guided us through the set-up process.
It all seemed to go very smoothly – any teething issues were dealt with quickly by the team.
The increased revenue from Breakfast and Afterschool Club has had a positive impact on our staffing, although being absorbed into our staffing costs, the surplus of £22,675 after the management fee has enabled us to employ a TA as a 1:1, something that is not funded. Parents really benefit as they have a dedicated contact where they can direct any queries.
It has saved a huge amount of time in terms of admin and communication with parents as it is all managed by you.
